About me

I'm a spiritual post-professional who's outgrown conventional careers and external incentives in favor of authentic meaningful work, right livelihood, and a lifestyle of creative contribution and voluntary simplicity made possible by free agency. The freedom and responsibility to create your own destiny into an open future as a self-employed free agent is awesome. I absolutely believe in the power to actualize dreams and to create a preferred future because I’ve done it and I help others do it. I served in the 3rd U.S. Infantry, the Army's most elite unit and where I started meditating, to put myself thru college where I was elected VP of the student body and graduated with honors with a broad liberal arts education. I then served as an Economic Policy Advisor to a senior Democratic U.S. Senator for eight years. While on Capitol Hill I was also a semiprofessional dancer culminating with the lead role of 'Phantom' in a dance production of The Phantom of the Opera performed at Wolf Trap. When I reached the limits of working for someone else I moved to sunny Santa Fe for grad school at St. John's, the 'Great Books' school, and to create my holistic fitness practice. I'm here looking for a fellow centaur, muse, running partner, yoga buddy, best friend, lover, wife, and soulmate to share life with... someone too alive, awake, aware, and full of joy to be cynical, jaded, or materialistic. Someone whose identity is more likely to be 'yogini' than her job.
