About me

I am widowed 58 swm, looking for friendship/dating etc. I am full time employed and own a vehicle, I rent my home. I smoke weed but I do not use any other drugs, I do not smoke tobacco and I do not take alcohol. I enjoy the outdoors; I like camping, fishing and hiking. I love to explore and go walking all year round. I love to cook and try all kinds of different things, I love to learn about other cultures and people and languages, I have a lifelong love of learning. I have lots of hobbies and interests, including plants, fish, music, technology, science and art I am educated and well read, passionate and very active. I can also be a couch potato lol especially if it's -25. I am not a religious person although I am spiritual and Christian in my actions, family ties and honesty are important and so are friendships and professional ties, but it has to be real I am not about projecting any image, I let my work or conduct speak for itself.. Not into any social media but very tech savvy, I don't even have a TV. I am a fairly simple guy with simple needs, not given to excess, more about practical or sentimental when it comes to material things. I like to think I am capable and resourceful, and I don't shy away from hard work unless I can :)

Looking for

I am looking for an easy going friend or someone to chat to, preferably local because it makes going for walks a bit easier :) I am not into any get-married-quick kind of thing, I do not want to be a one way ticket out of the Philippines ty but I am thankful for any reads of my profile :) I probably won't "add you on Hangouts" lol. Not looking for any sex only kind of relationship, rather an equal and a lover and friend and prefer someone within 0-10 years of my age or so. You are (hopefully) fairly intelligent, not overly religious (I do not attend church), honest, open and willing but also capable of being an equal in all respects. I am not really into timid people but I do not like brash/loud/crass either, somewhere in between, like most things. Nothing extreme but plenty of passion and the same kind of inquisitive mind, you can hit me with the snappy comeback :) You are active and enjoy taking life by the horns. I don't really care what you look like as long as there is a spark, chemistry is more important than looks and I don't expect makeup, just the real you :)
