Salamat po :) I have visited the Philippines a few times over the past 2 years and I have found the people warm and welcoming. I have stayed in a couple of provinces away from the hustle and bustle of the cities which was where I met some truly nice locals. So living in a province would be a delight yet I still would keep some of my western luxuries. :)
