About me

I'm warm, friendly, easy-going, affectionate and loving. I am very tactile so LOVE physical contact: holding hands, kissing and especially bear hugs. I have a great sense of humour: sometimes silly, sometimes clever or sarcastic, often witty and I regularly make fun of myself :-D My sense of humour often masks my intelligence, but I'm as capable of discussing intellectual and philosophical topics as I am at making funny faces :-D I'm an adventurer at heart (and young at heart too) and love to travel or pursue interests such as skiing, mountain biking, hiking or camping when time/money allows. I really enjoy trying new things (I tried stand up paddle boarding and Via Ferrata in Lake Garda and loved it) and love experiencing different cultures - I particularly enjoyed my time in India, which I found magical. My son is a wonderful, funny and sensitive soul who's losing interest in his old man now he's become a teenager, so having kinda lost my best friend (and having been single for nearly 4 years - my choice!), it's time to look for a new best friend who will hopefully fill my heart and mind with love and laughter. My son stays with me 50% of the time so I have plenty of free time to devote to a new best friend :-) I'm looking for someone who is open, honest, warm and loving. Someone who is both intelligent and funny, easy-going yet capable of making her own decisions and expressing her own ideas and suggestions (I really believe in being equals in a relations...
