About me

I am ever the optimist... If we keep trying, life will meet us halfway! With shared goals and kindness in our hearts, a wonderful relationship can grow. About me, I’ve always been a scientist at heart (and at work too :-) Curiosity is really at the center of who I am. One of my favorite pastimes is cooking. I enjoy trying different versions of a recipe to find a favorite. I love things fresh from my garden or the farmer’s market. When traveling I enjoy seeing the sights, but also exploring a city’s hidden charms. Professionally, I work in education. I make sure that our amazing teachers have the best prepared environment to teach in. I also work directly with students on nature projects (raising butterflies, gardening, baby chicks, earthworms, etc.) I love the look on their faces when I show them the largest seed in the world (ask me!)

Looking for

I’m ultimately looking for a partner who is interested in building a family together, someone who has retained their curiosity about life and its questions, both big and small. They aren’t afraid to dive in looking for answers, someone with a good-natured sense of humor, who is easy going and even-keeled. Like me, they’re looking for a real partnership: someone to grow with and enjoy life together. So much of what will make us a good match are things we can’t even begin to imagine until we meet. I can’t wait!
